Colibri Art & Framing is a full-service custom frame shop located in Morgan Hill. We are growing and are looking for a part-time candidate who can work at least 3 full days a week, to join our creative team. 
 
The Position 
Custom picture framers cut mats and glass, stretch canvases, mount artwork, and fit them into frames using specialized knowledge of art handling and preservation methods. You will also assist clients with designing framing for their artwork and memorabilia. 
 
Job Requirements 

We are looking for a candidate with strong fine motor skills and extreme attention to detail, as well as familiarity with basic office and email software.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.  This is not a graphics design position.  Experience with needle art, canvas and the handling of valuable and delicate artworks and historic documents would be a plus.  Some exposure to woodworking and using household power tools would be beneficial.  

We will train the right candidate that can commit to staying on the job for at least two years. This position requires the ability to self-manage and work independently. You need to be able to lift 50 pounds and stand on your feet for most of the day. You must be available to work 3 full days a week including some Saturdays. 
 
Pay Structure 
Training compensation starts at $18/hour and is based on experience and applicable skills. We promote a positive and collaborative work environment and have a team sales bonus structure in addition to a competitive hourly salary.
